Short Biography
Manzoor Hameed Arain is a distinguished Pakistani lawyer with over twenty-five years of extensive professional experience in litigation and legal practice. He was enrolled as an Advocate Lower Court in 2000, as an Advocate High Court in 2002, and as an Advocate Supreme Court in 2023. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive experience across a broad range of legal matters, including civil and criminal litigation, family and succession matters, corporate and banking law, property and rent matters, employment and service disputes, revenue and taxation matters, NAB and Anti-Corruption proceedings, and other special courts and tribunals.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Arain has held prominent positions within the legal profession. He served as an elected Member of the Sindh Bar Council from District South, Karachi, from 2016 to 2020, and was elected twice to leadership positions in the Karachi Bar Association, serving as Honorary Joint Secretary in 2006 and Honorary General Secretary in 2015.
He holds an LL.B. from Government S.M. Law College Karachi, along with a B.Com. and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Karachi. His professional affiliations include the Sindh Bar Council, Karachi Bar Association, Sindh High Court Bar Association, Corporate & Banking Lawyers Association, and Supreme Court Bar Association.
